Amy Karki is a photographer, artist, and teacher who lives in Sarasota, Florida and is originally from the Pacific Northwest. Ms. Karki received degrees in Photography and Art History and is currently completing graduate work in Studio Art and Education.
Inspired by nature, history, and travel, she has created and shown her work throughout the Pacific Northwest, New York and Europe. Amy believes that art is about connection to the viewer as much as self-expression. She is always interested in new collaborations and dialogues; as well as different ways to capture the senses and spirit of people, places and moments in time.
